*sigh* I -was- enjoying some time to myself when Housemate came home and detailed his day to me. He'd looked at two places, but neither worked since one didn't have a kitchen, and the other didn't have a bath. (kitchen and bath are both essential) Then he figured out that I had gum in my mouth, and said "GUM!" Of course, I interpreted that as a request / demand for gum (even though he's NOT a gum person), and offered him any gum I had. (trust me, I have a lot) He then clarified to say that I had gum in my mouth (yes, what of it?) and to not come near him if that was the case. Gee, nice to see you, too! :P

Then he sent me an email claiming that if I came near him with gum in his mouth, it was like assault and I was causing him further physical pain. Now, I get that he had a traumatic experience with gum as a child (people force-feeding it to him in an attempt to get rid of migraines, which was actually counter-productive), and one doesn't necessarily get over trauma quickly or at all, but REALLY! God forbid I actually DO assault him - I wonder what he'd call THAT?! Oh yeah - BULLYING! (which it would be!) I don't get it, but now he's sent me an MSN message saying that I'm treating his pain as a joke because I made a FB status saying that he was speaking in tongues! I wouldn't say it was a JOKE, but I do try injecting humor into some situations. What the hell...

So now I'm in my room with the radio and computer volume up! I swear I'm not playing "audio combat" or whatever he calls it, but if you try to accuse me of things which I am NOT DOING, well... TOO BAD! I say I love him like a brother, but this is decreasing a bit every day. Please... let him find a place soon! There are pluses AND minuses to his being here... but right now? Ugh. MY PLACE, you know? (this doesn't mean I'm NOT a sensitive soul, but yeah...)

Bleh - maybe a shower will at least clear my head. Although he did just assume that he needs to be out soon, and that I'll never hear from him again if that's the case. WTF is with your BRAIN, dude?! Do you even HAVE one?! At least I know that gum is a stupid thing to end a friendship over!

Re: Your answers
It was fine until he declared this war on gum. IT'S GUM, NOT A BOMB!

Probably so!

I'm not even 5 feet, man!

1. It was a decent weekend. Aside from a little family drama, it was quiet and uneventful, which is the way I like it.

2. Generally.

  1. Saturday was sleepy times, Sunday got out for a walk and found a local geocache that was on my close to home list. Monday was just a normal weekday, but was a bad one sating with a seizure.

1. I slept a lot and did laundry. While this may seem weird to a lot of people, this means my weekend was AWEsome! I got to clean a bit, which I LOVE, and I was productive, which makes me feel good about myself! But fireworks scare me (yes, apparently, I have been hanging out with dogs too much) so I did not go to see them. An extra day off, however, is good for me.

2. ALL the time. C'ept for the work copier. It's ANCIENT. The button just doesn't work all the time, but it always makes a fresh copy for me as soon as I finish pressing it a thousand times.

3. I'm five feet tall! And a LITTLE bit, like... half an inch.

1. How was your weekend?
Not bad. Did a lot of vegetating.

2. Do copiers behave for you?
*wields baseball bat to the sounds of Still by the Geto Boys* I think that sums up that question.

3. How tall are you?
Jul. 7th, 2011 10:47 pm (UTC)
1. It was fine.

2. Yes, most of them do. I know how to clear up paper blockages, and open and close trays to make the copier feel secured, and when the new copier doesn't work, I'm the one who riddles it out. The new copier at work required the big green button to be pushed twice before it would do its thing. The others thought it was broken!

3. 160 cm
