Answers, then questions

I've been so busy and tired I haven't been feeling up to posting lately, but it's mostly been in the good way. Well, the busy in a good way. I haven't slept well the last couple of nights. I keep having nightmares about teaching an improv class. Figure that one out.

1. Monday I had most of the day off, so I slept in a little. When I got up, one of our bar stools had been moved right to the edge of the hallway leading to our bedroom.

On the bar stool was a carton of eggs and my cell phone.

I asked Mark about it later. Of course, the phone was there because he had grabbed mine by accident. The eggs were from his dad and step-mom. He went downstairs to say 'bye', they gave him the eggs since they were leaving later that day, the eggs didn't make it to the 'fridge because he didn't want to be late for work.

I explained to Mark that the combo had created one of the most surreal mornings I've had in quite some time. He nodded sympathetically, then replied "I should have left one egg"

2. Monday night I had one of those "I'm going to hell for laughing at this, but I just can't stop!" moments. I was listening to NPR on the way home from rehearsal and it was the Latino news show. They were doing an article about Martin Luther King Jr. Day, but the reporter had such a heavy Chicano lilt to his delivery, all I could think of was "Oh! THAT'S what Slow Poke Rodriguez is doing these days!"

3. Yes, I really did jump off the porch into a snowbank on Saturday night. And I'd do it again, too.

1. What is the most surreal thing that has happened to you lately?

2. What is a "Oh, I'm so going to hell for laughing at this" moment you have had lately?

3. What is the stupidest thing you have done lately?

jumping off a snow bank sounds fun. My life has been one surreal moment at the moment, so I can't really choose just one..

1) I'm not sure about surreal, but I would have to say that listening to the defense attorney yesterday as he asked my client about every nitpicking little detail of her entire life... that was a serious "WTF" moment.

2) When I saw the icon entitled "jesus" in a post on dot_poly_snark... as seen here http://www.livejournal.com/allpics.bml?user=serenejournal. I was DYING and I KNEW I was goin' to hell.

3) Spent the whole day in bed on Sunday.

1. Well I guess this could count as surreal I went to denver for my grandma's funeral and, while I was at the viewing all I could think is What happened to her nose, it was bent.

2. Not sure but it was funny listening to my Aunts and Uncles talk about what they were going to put on grandma's head stone ( there are 7 of them) and my one Aunt and I think it should say We love you mom and dad from the magnificent 7 ( she is buried on top of grandpa in a military cemetery so grandpa just has his military stuff on his side of the head stone) After she mentioned it my uncles got into an argument over who got to be who from the old tv show. I was just sitting there like WOW your mom just died and now you are acting like a bunch of kids, she would be so proud.

3. While I was in Denver I stayed a few nights with my dad, when I left my uncles house I forgot my book. I hardly go anywhere with out a book. I felt so lost.
