This year, as last year, my mammogram came back clean but with a note that I am considered a very high cancer risk. I wasn't fully sure what to make of that since it specifically says it isn't because of anything they found on the mammogram. There is cancer running down all the branches of my family tree, so I was guessing it was based on that anecdotal evidence given to the technicians but I figured I'd ask the Doc at my annual poke n' prod.
Turns out...nope. This 27 out of 20 score is actually *my* personalized risk based on that data and also my impossibly dense tissue AND the biopsy from a few years ago.
So guess who is calling insurance to see what they cover?
