1. Quite a few actually as it's not a big thing in Germany - about 5 groups of kids.

2. Hm ... never for Halloween only carnival ... some homemade princess costume when I was really small.

3. Baking Christmas cookies. ;-)

1. Did you get any trick or treaters last night? Yes, but they didn't knock on the door because I left treats out on a chair at the top of our front path. The bowl of treats was quite depleted by the end of the evening.

2. What is the most memorable costume you have ever worn? We didn't have Halloween in Australia for most of my life but my primary school used to hold a fancy dress ball every year. I don't remember most of my costumes (if I even attended every year) but one year my mother dressed me as a newspaper.

3. What are you looking forward to this month? The combined birthday party for my two granddaughters on Saturday.

I've been a vegan for over half my life and no one sent me a damn Vegan Day present.

1.No, but my apartment entrance is at the back of the house down a narrow alleyway. Most people would never think anyone lived there, much less anyone with candy.

2. In kindergarten I wore a box painted white with black dots on the sides. I was a die (half a pair of dice.)

3. My annual solitary viewing of V for Vendetta.

1) Not at home, as I live in an apartment complex. But we have a HUGE festival at work, and all the young children of our employees went trick-or-treating in our departments.

2) Lots of people liked my Harley Potter mashup I designed this past year, but that was for con, not Halloween.

3) Big Adventure Fest this weekend.

1) Nope. I shut off the porch light because all candy in this house belongs to me.

2) Nothing really worth mentioning.

3) Next paycheck.

1) Nope. I got candy all to myself!

2) I think my most memorable one was one I wore last year at a friend's Halloween party - I pinned a note above my shoe and called myself a footnote.

3) Thanksgiving :)

2. Nothing truly memorable.

3. The end of it.

1. Yes I did. It's the first time trick and treaters have turned up at my house. There were about eight kids in the group accompanied by three adults.

2. It's only been the last couple of years that Halloween has started to make inroads into Australia.

3. Hopefully getting the plaster cast off my arm

1. No. I live in the middle of nowhere.

2. Um, probably the Alien bursting from my chest.

3. Cornbread dressing. And eating out in ATL on Xmas shopping weekend.
