1. do you use the term "hard boiled" or "hard cooked" in reference to eggs?

2. Would you rather live in a world where mutant heroes and villains were real (like the Marvel Universe) or one where vampires, zombies and other monsters were real (like the World of Darkness)? Why?

3. What have you eaten so far today?

Survived my annual..almost was preempted for two women in labor. Nothing like seeing a doc who's been up all night. Drove the mini-Cooper last night and loved it. Beginning to realize that getting an automatic Bug or Scion might be a quest for the grail. Survived rehearsal last night, but FROZE! Looks like it is going to rain for tonight's fun.

1) Hard-boiled (the hyphen, to me, is mandatory). Hard cooked seems, in my recollection, an eastern-US thing.

2) I don't know enough about either to make an intelligent comment.

3) Two sausage croissants and two hash browns (Jack in the Box).

1. Hard-boiled, and I'm from the East Coast.

2. I think the mutant thing, but I'm not really sure.

3. One bottle of Redi-Cat and a bunch of iodine dye.

Yup. It's just my 4 month follow-up scans, so there shouldn't be anything exciting...

1. I like my eggs hard-boiled, like my detective fiction.

2. Monsters, vampires, and zombies! But I don't really know why. Maybe because men in tights and capes don't do much for me? Mind you, it's not like I find the undead alluring, either...I'll have to think on this one a bit more. ;)

3. Coffee, some watermelon, an apple juice, Vietnamese spring rolls with peanut sauce, salt 'n vinegar chips, and a V8 juice. Mmmm.

1. Hard-boiled
2. Marvel Universe. The idea of living in a society where people have mutant powers seems a lotmore intriguing to me then dead things walking around. (And I've been addicted to the X-Men comics since I was about 5). *grin*
3. A carmel mocha and a bowl of ceral.

yay questions!
1) hard boiled...no hyphen, no capital letters just hard boiled.

2) Mutant-power land, 'cause I frickin hate ZOMBIES.

3) a peanut butter cup, a doughnut, a cup of coffee and a bottle of water. Not my best eating day today.

Re: yay questions!
Hey, but you did get the water in there, that's a plus.

1. "Hard boiled." I've never even heard of using "hard-cooked."

2. Hrm...the thing is, while I'm not a big fan of vampires and and zombies, I like a lot of the other things in the World of Darkness, like Changelings and Mages. If I could have those too, I'd definitely go for WoD. If it were just the monsters, probably superheroes and supervillains.

3. Salt and vinegar chips, 2 devilled eggs and a couple of Oreos.

1. Hard boiled.
2. Yes.
3. uhmm..a couple cups of coffee. I forgot my breakfast because I was in a rush for an early meeting.

We needed the rain though, the dust was getting bad onsite. It just needs to go away tomorrow and not come back till after Faire.
And it was amazing how chilly it got last night, and how quickly it did so.

1. Hard boiled, but I bet that is the wrong answer.

2. Mutant heroes and villains, because I know more about the Marvel Universe, then the World of Darkness.

3. Mashed potatoes and BBQ turkey.

I don't think there is a right answer, I just know someone who is on a crusade to get people to use the term "hard cooked" because when you say "hard boiled" some folks think you have to keep the eggs at a boil for the whole 10 minutes and they get rubbery.

1. Hard Boiled.

2. World of Darkness - it’s way cooler, and you can dress all gothy with out people making fun (because they don’t know if you are or are not a Vampire!) Well, that and I bet you don't go to jail for killing monsters, vampires, or Zombies. Kill a superhero, and WHOOOO the population comes down on you like CRAZY.

3. 2 eggs omelet with cheese and bacon inside, 3 cups of coffee, 1 large diet Pepsi, a large salad, and a hand full of peanuts.
