2. William Wallace.

3. Last Wednesday. I hate marshmallows, though, so my s'mores were really reese's peanut butter cups held over the fire pit with my marshmallow fork til it got just melty enough and then placed between the graham crackers and smooshed together.

1. Crazy stressful! Too much bad/inconvenient/frustrating happening around all the good that's supposed to be happening!

2. Not that I know of for certain, but my mother says we're related to Barry Manilow. However, 3/4 of what my mother says can be taken with a grain of salt.

3. Just three weeks ago, but I couldn't get the kids to wait until the fire was really well established, so the marshmallows were all sooty. Yuck.

Nice! Last day of beach vacation, kiddie birthday party went well, got a decent bit wrapped up around the house.

Not many, or super famous, that I know of. Most directly is probably Admiral George Dewey from the Spanish-American war, but that is more of a history geek thing. I'm very distantly related to the Kennedys, but I think that goes for every Irish-American in MA.
My husband's family tends to have bad luck. Some New England historical figures he's related to (although not always a direct descendant) are Phineas Gage, Giles Corey, and Martha Waite.

When camping about a month ago.
