Tee-HEE!

I came up with an idea to sell some of our old costumes and vintage prom dresses as an October fund raiser. Don was skeptical and concerned that we would not get that much interest compared to the time to set it up.

Today, I got a call from Chanel 11 news asking if they could come in and film a little segment on our costume sale.

When he finished laughing, the first thing Don asked was "You're not wearing a rude shirt today, are you?"

Your sale is getting some airplay on the other radio stations in town. I don't remember which one, I scan from commercial break to commercial break to find out who is buying... I was not actually listening to the station.

WELL? ARE you wearing a rude shirt today?

I have one all Matrix like with a picture of Jebus in Neo's high collar japanese looking jacket that says "Jesus Knows Kung Fu" - The rabid christians love that one.

Tell me what "rude" shirts you own

No, but I changed into an ATY shirt since the one I was wearing (though theatre related) is about as old as Don's son.

Rude shirts? @wheee! I actually own 3 shirts that were mentioned in the "what you CAN'T WEAR" meeting the first year I worked for ATY. I have a shirt from Hung Far Lo ("I don't care if it's a real restaurant, you're not fooling anybody!"), I have a shirt with a guy on top of a building with a riffle that says "I Love a Parade" (when someone comes over and I'm wearing that shirt, they know it means I am not leaving the house), I have a cast shirt from Hamlet that always stops people in their tracks - the front says simply "I have heard the cock." (That one got me heckled at a comedy show at the Fringe. The MC was going along the rows reading all the shirts aloud got to mine and added "and the cock says "Blow me!"), and my favorite is one that is a picture of Paddington Bear (from behind) flashing and reads "Another Child Star Gone Bad". I need a new one, it's getting really worn out after all these years.

That's great! I'm selling a bunch of our old costumes, too, as well as some of the leftovers that we couldn't use from our donation. I hope we make some money, anyway.
